Hey guys, Demi here - come get to know me!
So if you can't tell already, I'm a freelance makeup artist and hair stylist and absolutely love what I do!
I've been in the industry for 15 years and I'm completely mobile so I come to you. Getting glammed up in the comfort of your own home is what I'm all about.
Weddings are my specialty. Not only am I a hopless romantic and love weddings but it's just such good vibe on the morning of the wedding day and I love being a part of it.
I also do events, photoshoots, lessons and everything in between.
As an artist, I believe in a more natural look, in order to "enhance ones beauty" rather than change it so if your looking for a natural makeup style, I'm the artist for you.
I started studying in 2008. I've done multiple hair and makeup courses scattered overtime to keep up with trends, worked with brands (3 years at Mac Cosmetics 2012) and beauty salons, however I have found it's the experience over the years that has taught me the most.
I use only luxury brands in my kit - can say I have zero products from a pharmacy. My favourite brands to use for makeup would be Mac Cosmetics, Charlotte Tilbury, Laura Mercier, Tarte Cosmetics, Shiseido, and Hourglass. For hair my favourites would be Kevin Murphy, O&M, Redken and Natalie Anne, Silver Bullet and GHD.
As for me as a person, I'm a major perfectionist (with everything that I do), I love everything creative and have always put 100% of effort into anything I put my mind too.
I have very high standards on almost everything (especially makeup and hygiene) so if you get my tick of approval on something you'll know its good. I love food, love cooking and baking (health freak over here) but I do enjoy a nice red wine with friends.
I'm a wife and mum - I've been with my husband since I was 16 years old and we now have 2 beautiful kids together Boston and Alaia who are living duplicates of us.
The days are crazy but we make a great team and I feel so grateful to have such a flexible work life.
